My Characters As of Now
Sometimes I imagine that my thief, Merridah, keeps a scrapbook secretly. What would the caption be here?
“And here are the friends I made at the Thieve’s Guild just before they discover a certain someone’s sudden but inevitable betrayal. Those were some crazy times!”
Sorry, I’m a little hyped up on coffee - J
My three characters (so far). Amelia-Rose Bertrand, The Breton Mage; Idris Auðunardóttir, the Nord Warmaiden; and Merridah Tír-Mòr, the Dunmer Assassin.
What do you think? Maybe I should finish an entire campaign with one before making another, eh? Naw. Naw.
Merridah Tír-Mòr
I’ve been talking a lot about Idris and, really, how can I not? She’s a Nordic Werewolf War Maiden who wields a honkni’ big two handed sword, has one eye, and doesn’t take shit from anyone. Well, Merridah is the polar opposite in terms of disposition. Oddly enough, she’s my first Skyrim character and I’ve logged a lot of hours with her and yet not a lot of screens have been taken. Why? Because I forgot that even if the game isn’t a Steam game, you can still take screen shots as long as the overlay is working. Pardon me. Anyway, who is Merridah Tír-Mòr?
A Dunmer born in Cyrodiil, Merridah can be called the quiet, shy type. She wasn’t much for social activities and kept mostly to herself. When the Red Mountain erupted, her family uprooted and moved and set up in Cyrodiil. Her favorite activity was going out hunting with her father and as a result developed skill with a bow that even a Wood Elf would take notice of. Wanting to find her own way, she decides to travel and first goes to Skyrim where she is captured with a group of Stormcloak soldiers. After finding her freedom, she explores the land as she saw fit and had some interesting encounters along the way. She contracted both Lycantropy, which she cured through much trouble, and Vampirism, of which she also cured as soon as she could. She has a deep mistrust of the Nordic people because of their staunch racism against elves and finds herself at home in the Grey Quarter of Windhelm. Currently, she heads both the Thieves Guild of Skyrim as well as the Skyrim chapter of the Dark Brotherhood. She has made such a name for herself that the appearance of nightingale bird is now taken to be sign of death or bad luck.
(I have developed a problem, I think. Too much character involvement…)
