“And when did I agree to this?” she asked.
“Do you know how much business your sword is keeping me away from? That hunk of steel is harder to work than anything and you’ve snapped it in so many pieces that I’ve had to break my head trying to figure out how to re-forge it without it breaking on you again.” Adrianne was a little indignant, but there was still a hint of amusement in her town. Watching Idris work the forge was something she never expected and the almost practiced looking strikes of the hammer gave Adrianne pause to smile.
“Fine, but I’m not doing anything fancy. Just basic repairs and horseshoes, alright?”
“Whatever you say, Idris.” she chuckled, “Funny, never thought I’d have another employee and a pretty one to boot.”
“Don’t you start with me, you Imperial flirt.” she replied as she slammed her hammer down.
